1. 16 May 2026 Saturday 3 p.m. at GHS courtyard:  tour of GHS (free) as it currently exists.

2. 16 May 2026 Saturday 5 p.m. buffet at Sherpa House (for those that wish to sign up for this at a cost of $40/person).

3. 17 May 2026 Sunday 3 p.m. Mother Cabrini Shrine (free, optional) memorial (moment of silence and celebration) for classmates who are no longer with us; with optional hike to the top of the shrine.

4. 17 May 2026 Sunday (other, optional):  Clear Creek kayaking and museum, Golden Community Center (free), Buffalo Bill’s Grave (not free, going price)

Dear Class of 1970 Classmates.

I wanted to get back to everyone as soon as possible.  Due to circumstances beyond our control, we needed to switch venues from the Capital Grill to “The Table Mountain Inn,” 1301 Washington Ave, also in downtown Golden [two blocks of the Capital Grill].  Still the same date and time, August 23rd, 2025, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. We have been able to keep the cost at $50 per person which includes use of their Arapahoe conference room, also provided is one bar ticket for your choice of beverage plus a great appetizer bar.  There will also be a cash bar for those who want more than one beverage.  

The menu will include Chipotle honey chicken skewers, Coconut Shrimp, Sweet Corn Empanadas, Beef Empanadas, Snake Bites Cremini Mushroom, Vegetable Crudites, Charcuterie and Cheese Board, and Fresh-Baked Assorted Cookies.

Our committee will need to start finalizing the number of attendees, so if you have not sent in your RSVP, please do so soon.

The Inn is requiring us to pay a deposit to hold the facility. As for this writing we have about 50 people who have responded, 20 who have paid in full and 10 others have partially paid.  Sorry to say the reunion committee will need the rest who will be joining us to get their money into me ASAP.

One additional request, if any of you know of folks from our class who have passed since our last reunion in 2021, please send us their names, we want to recognize all that we can.
